5 Million Tourists Arrived in Antalya Since Early 2021

Promising figures are recorded by Antalya, the capital of tourism in Turkey, in terms of tourist arrivals since early 2021, although the end of the 2021 Antalya tourism season has not been announced.

About 5 Million Tourists Arrived in Antalya Since Early 2021

According to data by the Ministry of Tourism in Turkey, the number of tourists visiting Antalya has hit 4.780.710 from early 2021 till 23^rd August 2021, while hotels across Antalya accounted for 80% of their capacity.

In this regard, Mr Ilkay Atmaca, president of the Association of Hotel Managers, said the influx of tourists to Antalya this year is twice the figures recorded last year, which was 3.5 million.

As Antalya’s tourist season is not over yet, Atmaca expects the influx of tourists to Antalya to continue and hit at least 7 million by the end of the year.

It is worth noting that Antalya, known for its charming beauty, cultural and historical attractions, and clean sandy beaches, is living its golden age in terms of hosting foreign tourists this year.
