As Safaraq Travel Tourism and Organization Limited Company (“Safaraq”), we have prepared this Privacy Notice in order to inform you about the processing, storage, and transfer of your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the relevant legislation.

As Safaraq, in our capacity as the data controller under the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law” or “KVKK”), we attach great importance to the security of your personal data that we process. Therefore, we would like to inform you regarding the processing of your personal data.1. What Personal Data Do We Process, For What Purposes, On What Legal Grounds, and By Which Collection Methods?

When you register for a new membership through the website https://www.safaraq.com/en/login, your personal data is processed in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and secondary regulations, for the purposes and on the legal grounds specified below:

In order to create your membership record, allow you to use the services provided to members via login, and based on the information and documents you provide through the Safaraq website, your identity information (name, surname, nickname), contact information (phone number, email address), customer transaction information (product/service interests), and financial information (asset details, title deed information) are processed for the purposes of:

• Conducting product/service sales processes,
• Conducting after-sales support services,
• Carrying out marketing activities for products/services,
• Conducting marketing and analysis activities,
• Executing contract processes,
• Managing advertising/campaign/promotion processes,
• Conducting and auditing business activities,
• Carrying out communication activities,
• Conducting customer satisfaction activities,
• Managing customer relations, and
• Following up on requests/complaints.

These data are processed on the legal grounds set forth in Article 5 of the Law, namely:

• “It is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract,” and
• “It is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.”

2. To Whom and For What Purposes May Your Personal Data Be Transferred?

2.a. Within Turkiye

Your personal data may be transferred domestically to:

• Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations, for the purposes of conducting activities in compliance with legislation, providing information to authorized persons, institutions, and organizations, and following up on legal affairs,
• İmtilak Group Companies, for the purposes of conducting business activities, communication activities, request and complaint follow-up, finance and accounting processes, logistics operations, product/service sales, and after-sales support processes.

2.b. Abroad

Your personal data may also be transferred abroad for the purposes stated above and, in addition, for the purpose of carrying out storage and archiving activities.
Since Safaraq uses cloud systems whose servers are located abroad, your personal data will be transferred abroad based on your explicit consent, in accordance with Article 9(1) of the KVKK.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data and Application

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• To learn whether your personal data has been processed,
• To request information if your personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, either domestically or abroad,
• To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
• To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in the KVKK,
• To request notification to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, regarding the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data,
• To object to any unfavorable results arising from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems, and
• To demand compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
